To make things clear, The word Prophet(Nabi) means a messenger of God, someone who brings guidance to people.The Holy Propher(P.B.U.H) prophecized the coming of an Imam who'll bring misguided Muslims back to the true teachings of Islam.
Now Ahmadi Muslims believe that the promised Imam already came and he is the person who's coming was promised by Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) .
Now, this imam's duty was to reguide people back to the true teachings of islam. So basically, he was a messenger of God reguiding people towards truth. now, isnt this the defintion of a Prophet(Nabi). This is the reason we call that Imam Nabi. Now some Non-Ahmadi muslims say that accepting him Nabi is not true because Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) is the last prophet. Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) IS the last Prophet. His prophethood is a special one unlike the ordinary prophet hood. His prophethood is the one where a completely new religion is introduced, this type of prophet is not claimed by our imam. so please takenote.

What do u think of the promised Imam Holy Prophet(p.b.u.h) prophesized to come. WE believe that out community Imam is the promised one. its HOly Prohphet(p.b.u.h) own prophecy that he'll come.

I think you should read the biblical book Revelation. It has end time teaching in it. Even until the new heavens and the new earth.

I also believe the the Imam Nabi may be the prophet of the antichrist, or the antichrist, or the person standing in the temple claiming to be God, or connected to mystery babylon.

And, I don't think he is friends with the real Lord Jesus Christ.

i think people call ahmadi muslims kaffirs because in islam, the belief that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the last prophet is very important. And that is why he had no sons so that nobody could say that the sons were prophets. The ahmadi muslims say that another nabi came after the Prophet (Pbuh), and that is against one of the biggest beliefs of islam.

ok i read up on it a little. from my understanding the ahmadi muslims believe that the imam is the one Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had prophesized while the mainstream muslims believe it is Jesus (pbuh) that will come. please correct me if i'm wrong

The return of Prophet Isa (pbuh) would not qualify him as a new prophet after Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because he had already come before him. The imam, however, although he didnt come with any new laws for islam, is still considered a prophet in the sense of the word. I guess thats why most muslims are against the teachings of ahmadi muslims...they believe that there will be no new prophets at all after Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Ahmadis are very advantageous human beings. No-one has the nicely suited to call all and sundry else a Kaffir. [006:159] Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) have no concern with them in the least. Their affair is only with Allâh, Who then will tell them what they used to do.

(V.6:159) It is said that the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] recited this Verse and said: "These people are those who invent new things (Bid'ah) in religion and the followers of the vain desires of this Muslim nation, and their repentance will not be accepted by Allâh." (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)
[It has been narrated in the Hadîth Books (At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Mâjah and Abu Dâwûd) that the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said: "The Jews and the Christians will be divided into seventy-one or seventy-two religious sects and this nation will be divided into seventy-three religious sects, all in Hell, except one, and that one is: on which I and my Companions are today, i.e. following the Qur'ân and the Prophet's Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements)."]
