How do you put accents over letters when you are typing?

á is ALT+160, í is ALT+161, ó is ALT 162, ú is ALT+163, ñ is ALT+164 and Ñ is ALT+165

To make things simpler, on a Windows machine
just set your keyboard to United States- International.
Then if you want an accent just hold down the right ALT key and type the vowel you want. To get ñ hold down the right ALT key
and type n.To get ¿ hold down the right ALT key and
type ?. To get ¡, hold down the right ALT key and type
1.
