How do you put accents over letters when you are typing?

á is ALT+160, í is ALT+161, ó is ALT 162, ú is ALT+163, ñ is ALT+164 and Ñ is ALT+165

To make things simpler, on a Windows machine
just set your keyboard to United States- International.
Then if you want an accent just hold down the right ALT key and type the vowel you want. To get Ã± hold down the right ALT key
and type n.To get Â¿ hold down the right ALT key and
type ?. To get Â¡, hold down the right ALT key and type
1.
