My ex I did not speak for a year and we just got back in touch. We are now speaking and apologizing to one another but we both live in seperate states and we are both planning on going to school. I love my ex alot and I still have feelings but I am not sure if I should move on or what I should do. Its been eating me up inside, does anyone understand?

The general rule of thumb is to give everyone a second chance but never a third. Only you can evaluate why you broke up and why you want to get back together. Has anything changed or will you break up again. Most would advise to just move on. I'd say take your time and feel each other out.

Good luck!

Remember, there's always a "honeymoon phase", bad breaks often leave us exhausted emotionally and only remembering the goodtimes. Keep in mind why you guys broke up, ask yourself these questions, has anything changed, are you willing to accept it if they have not and if you will be better of with just the memories of the good times and remain just friends? When I broke up with a few boyfriends/husband I always missed them at first but then I remembered why they became exes and left it as friends.

If you know both of your futures lead in different directions then don't get emotionally involved again. But, if you know that the love you feel won't just go away then go for it. I am with my ex from my past and the second time around we both realized what we had done to become ex's in the first place and now we are happily in love.

If shes your ex... shes your ex. you guys probably broke up for a reason, that same reason might come back. I think that you should move on and find your princess. Hopefully things get better from there.

Leave the past in the past. You guys didn't work out for a reason and I'm sure that reason is still there.

Move on for sure. You live in separate states... LD relationships usually do not work, and there was an OBVIOUS reason why you two broke up. So remember that, and DONT go backwords... ALWAYS GO FORWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you should do what you feel....if you love her and you want to be together...you guys should be together. I believe everyone deserves a second chance!
