Get a good lawyer. I would also try to get some statements from family and friends about your parenting skills. You need to find some other way to get the course that they want you to take. The more you do to help your case, the better it will look to the court.
I am not sure what your situation is but you need to try and get your daughter with a family member until you can get this all settled.
I wish you the best of luck and hope it all works out for you.

You need a LAWYER. You can do NOTHING on your own. The way the court system works when it has the wrong information is HORRIBLE - you may never see her again if you DONT get a lawyer! Also, call the local TV stations and complain loud and clear as well - but only AFTER you get a lawyer to help you!

You have to prove to them that you responsible and would never intentionally put her in the same position again. At the moment they are seeing you as an accessory because they maybe thinking that you knew your ex was a prick but didn't do anything about it in time. You daughter paid the consequence of your ignorance, But you cant be blamed for ever for being ignorant, they will see that if you persevere.

If you are still in the relationship that can have a bearing on their decision. If you are no longer in the relationship, they should be looking at reunification. Keep asking and try to get to supervisor level. Especially if this is a first time thing.

Find out the social worker that is dealing with this case and explain it to her/him. You should get help or advice from them. Good luck.

Get legal advice, find out your rights, you should be able to get her back if you can prove your ex is completely, totally out of your life.
