There are no zip codes in Ireland. Just write Co. Donegal, Ireland and put your trust in the postal service!! If the letter doesn't arrive, it's not because its missing a zip code!!

Bit late asking now, you needed to put 2x1st class stamps on it to cover the extra postage or a special Eire stamp from the Post office, used to be 60p not sure if it went up? Ireland is not part of the UK, you wouldn't post a letter to Italy or Greece for example and just put 1 first class stamp on it and expect it to get there, or would you? Your letter will probably arrive but usually they get delayed due to insufficient stamps. The recipient does not have to pay extra on receipt, it just gets delayed. Might take 2-3 weeks depending on how p*ssed off the staff at the sorting office are right now.

Ireland dosn't have zipcodes really. The area and population of the towns are too small to need them.
