Rusting a club is a great (and USGA approved) means to obtain a rougher surface on the face of the golf club (typically a wedge), which in turn generates must higher spin on the ball, allowing to ball to stick to the green (or even spin back), an attribute that all golfers want. Interestingly, it's not the rust that causes the extra spin, rather it is the pitting on the metal surface that adds the roughness that imparts the spin.

Unfortunately, the Ram FX clubs are made of stainless steel, which prevents them from rusting. If you want a rusted surface on your wedges, you need to purchase unfinished, non-stainless clubs. Several manufactures make these clubs available.

Try salt water. Leave them in it for 24 hours then let them air dry
