If yes, then what kind of a "loving god" would do such a thing?

If no, then what is the point in the christians running around spreading the "good news"?

I mean, if the people who haven't heard about jesus don't go to hell anyway, what is the point in telling everyone about this, other than giving them an opportunity to either accept or reject the message?

And if they reject the message, then they go to hell, right?

So, weren't they better off before you "helped" them?

Before you showed up to "save" them, they weren't going to hell anyway.

If this is true, then you are running around sending people to hell.

Not very good karma...

Or very Christ-like...

I don't think there is a hell. Well - you can create one here on earth - if you want - I guess. There is no way that God/Power/Love wants to see somebody burn eternally because they didn't accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. And if you ask the Christians to explain this - my experience has been a bunch of Bible quotes. They KNOW that it's just not logical - so they fall back on the Bible which they think is the FINAL WORD on everything. (Even though it was written 2000 years ago and has lost A LOT in the translations)

The "Good News" is that Jesus is the Son of God - and we are all Children of God. And Jesus was a fabulous role model - who we can all learn from We all have God-like qualities in us - and can be good souls and spread love around the world. That "good news" makes sense to me. People burning in fire eternally because they choose to call their God Buddha or Allah or Love or anything other than Jesus - is just silly.

Used to be that they went to limbo. But the Pope decided that there was no such place, so what now?...

I believe that hell is the absence of knowing God in your life. You don't have to die to be in hell. I also believe that it is arrogant of any person to say what will happen to another when they die.

People who don't have the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ in this life will get the opportunity to learn about Him in the world of spirits after they die. If they reject it here, they'll have an opportunity to accept it later, too.

The reason it's still important to preach about Him here is that the gospel of Jesus Christ can help us out during our lives. It's not just about going to heaven after, but also having a happy life here.

Dont' worry about them -- God has a plan to save the righteous ones. It appears, though, that YOU have heard the Gospel. So what will you do with this knowledge?

I don't recall where, but somewhere in the Bible it states that a person who has not heard the Gospel message will be judged by what's in their hearts.

I think of your question this way:
God gave us his "Breath" of life.
I believe this is our soul.
When we die, what happens to
our soul - God's Breath of Life"?
If I were God, I would not want to
waste my Breath and let the Devil in Hell
have it. So, I believe, our soul goes to Heaven.
God is taken his Breath back, our Soul.
That includes everyone. Christians, Atheist and any other
Religion and people who have never heard about the
Christian God.

Yes...a just God...I don't send people to hell, God does that, I just call them to repent of their sins and turn to the God who stands in judgment over their sin.

Ummmm...there is no hell. The closest thing we have to "hell" is the negativity we can experience right here on earth. We ALL go to "heaven"...the punishment for bad behavior during life, is coming back here to learn the lesson properly.
