A good amount into your actual abs, but don't only focus on that one muscle group; working on the lower body increases your body's output of testosterone which will definitely help with abs and other muscles (pecs, for one!). Do a good amount of cardio in addition to weight training and you'll have a more toned appearance; nutrition is also important in this aspect.
