Spirituality is an expansive feeling that there is more to life than just ourselves. It does not require a God or gods or a belief system...it happens inside of the person. It may be the feeling of smallness as you stand by the ocean, or the grandeur of seeing the mountains for the first time, or the moment your child is first laid in your arms after birth.
Can it lead to a rebirth or faith, of course, but it does not have to do so.

Hi, Spirituality comes through associating with a spiritual environment. Those who are religious will associate it with living the life that God encourages us to live which includes doing spiritual things such as reading scripture and regular prayer from the heart. A state of spirituality is approached from within by taking action to enable it to exist.
It is certainly more than being religious. A person can go to church and in that sense be "religious", but that does not automatically mean that such a person is spiritual in nature. For some, religion can be little more than a habit. To be spiritual is to be focused and dedicated to that which is spiritually rewarding.

How do you feel when you hear a great song? Or see something beautiful in nature? Or connect with someone you love? How do you feel when you are alone just thinking about things, hoping ans wishing? When you FEEL connected emotionally? When you are relieved? It is different from being religious, and some have more experiences then others. But everyone can develop spiritually through prayer and meditation.

Some religions are mundane. Too laid back. No spirituality at all. Many people think Modern Pentecostals are too far out or even fake. There are some there that fake it, but there are some that do not fake it. Where I go, you can feel the Spirit of God like oil. Very spiritual. Many in the community think that our church is too strict in it's guidelines. But Christ said that narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it. I think our pastor is on the right path. We are a full gospel modern Pentecostal church.

Spirituality is the personal side of things. A "religion", in and of itself, doesn't have it; individuals do, and no religion is required to have it. As to how to experience it...again, all up to the individual. My basic recipe that works for nearly everyone, though, is to go out on a nice clear night and look at the stars. The thoughts going through nearly anyone's mind at that point in time are a kind of spirituality.

Maybe you are actually referring to the move of the Holy Spirit....and yes it is wonderful. Why would you want it?....A better question might be why would you not want God't best?
