Well its good you are deciding to celebrate as many people let their Anniversaries slip away without any notice.

I would say a party at a nice pub with food and a cake or a holiday or a dinnner at a restaurant with friends and family and go ahead and invite them as if this was your wedding day.

Enjoy.

Firstly congrats on your 25 year anniversary, as they are few and far between now a days. Why not celebrate with some family and friends and renew your vows. If you have children they would love to see their parents swear their love to each other. Others will be honoured to help you celebrate by being present for this renewal. If you can afford a second honeymoon to the original one then go for that also.

If your marriage is working out the way that you would like it then i would talk about renewing your vows it does not mean that you have to go to the extremes but it would be nice to renew your vows and maybe having been married for twenty some years then it would give you a better idea as to what you would like to say for your vows and maybe this time you would be able to go on the honeymoon that you always wanted.
It could also be that now for your honeymoon you could do things that you could not bring yourself to do before being as how your were newly married.

But wither way GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MARRIAGE!!

Instead of an expensive holiday, how about something like a new experience you can both enjoy and have as a great memory.

some people like to renew their vows and have a dinner with close friends an family.

if you wanted to go and a trip or holiday, how about somewhere with "silver" in the name - Silver Springs in Maryland or Florida, Silverstrand Beach in California or Ireland, or to a Silver Mine.

make a photo album filled with pictures from the last 25 years.

plant a tree - a silver birch, maybe?

congratulations, by the way, and here's to another 25!

1) Renew your wedding vows with your kids (if you have any) being the attendants bridesmaid/groomsmen. 2) You each throw 3 places you would like to visit in a bag and have a third party pull the destination from the bag. 3)Drive cross country together on easy time. 4) Go on a real date, where he comes to pick you up or meet up as though you were on a blind date. 5) Discuss how he has changed versus how you have change and what you would like to see happen in the future.

My brother, sister, and I sent my parents to Ireland for their 25th. It was pretty cool because we were able to call their bosses and get them the time off, which neither of them ever uses. They were totally surprised and still talk about it, the shock and the trip, to this day (five years later).

My vote is take a vacation, somewhere far that you may not go again.

I don't know about you but I just got married this past year and had a blow-out wedding. My husband and I have since decided that for our one year anniversary we are going to go to Vegas and have a nice easy-going, no-stress wedding and renew our vows. I would suggest this to anyone (first time marriage or not)!

A vacation for the two of you! You could even make it a surprise vacation if getting him the time off work without him knowing isn't a problem. I know a couple that did that and had a great time and said it was one of their best anniversary's. Congratulations!

Oh goodness, I don't know what you should do. I just want to say congratulations on 25 years of marriage. Really, that's great, I can hardly make it to 3 years!

Wishing you 25 more years of happiness!

There is nothing like dinner and a movie. Board games are fun too. All this information is coming from a twelve year old, but trust me, just because you aren't a kid doesn't mean you can't celebrate like one. ^_^
