paper towels are not sanitary to eat, i've heard they're made with lower grade materials than tissues and other products. aside from the dull cardboard like taste I imagine they have, it doesn't seem wise to introduce anything new and atypical to your digestive tract. try something you can munch on with few or very little calories...I like baby carrots, you can eat them raw or cover and micro for 4 minutes and they are soft. cucumbers are low cal good snacks too (if low on nutrients). finally, try celery. I've heard that it actually creates a calorie deficit bc it takes more calories to burn it than you consume when you eat it. avoid paper, or if you like the flavor, have a plain rice cake :) healthy dieting should be something you can keep up for a lifetime, as quick fixes seldom last. also, I'd check with a family physician, parent, or trusted friend to see if you really NEED weight loss, bc you may be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. if you do decide to set a weight loss goal, they can help you create a plan to reach it safely and healthfully. good luck :) take your time.~

do you know what they PUT INTO PAPER?
okay alot of times, the paper is recycled, and only God knows where that's been, on the ground, up someones butt, or whatever! Plus they put chemicals into the paper to make it white, so that is not at all healthy! I watched a show just he other night on how they make paper, and the way this certain company did it, they got tons of recycled trash/paper, and they made some new paper out of that, then comes in the chemicals. PLEASE tell you friend to stop! It's NOT good for you and if you ask me, a very stupid way to lose weight! If your friend is a teen, then tell her she should'nt be dieting. Us teens should'nt diet because, well, you should be enjoying life, plus, most teens who go on diets do not even NEED to!

As I said in your other question: I don't think that's healthy. That sound like something a doctor needs to talk to her about....her regular doctor and a psychiatrist.
