If I'm now taking EFFEXOR XR 150mg will it hurt me to slowly start taking LEXAPRO 20mg?

only change your medication with your dr, approval. I didnt like lexapro it didnt work for me.

Please take your medication as your MD rx. If you have any problems taking the two, call his office. Both are antidepressants, but Effexor XR has a component for anxiety.

If you do it under psychiatric supervision, it will be OK. I have been advised to take both at the same time with no problem.

I did it, and it didn't hurt me, so you'll probably be ok.
