no. the northern lights are the reflection of ice particles in the air when the sun or moon hits them. they usually are up North hence the name by the northern regions. We can sometimes see them here if we are lucky enough.

No. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomena also known as the aurora borealis. Basically, the northern lights are caused by charged particles entering Earth's atmosphere near the magnetic poles.
