I would say not to give children even decaf coffee as it does have a small amount of caffiene in it..it is also said that the process used to take the caffiene out of the coffee beans can make decaf coffee toxic to your body if you have too much of it.

you may thoroughly devour 2 8oz cups of caffeinated espresso an afternoon. yet in case you drink decaf, make confident that's the decaf that you your self have brewed. Many places say they have decaf besides the indisputable fact that evidently for one reason or yet another, those cups could have basically as a lot caffeine as accepted.

i been in the food and beverage industry for ever, i can tell you that there is really no such thing as 100% caffine free coffee. even decaf has a little. if you let your child drink tea or cola or mountain dew, there is about the same amount in them as a regular cup of coffee.

Most children don't like the bitter taste of coffee. Even with milk and sugar. But it seems safe. The website I saw says it's safe. I give my daughter a sip about twice a year - that's all she's ever asked for it. The rest of my kids won't go near. Hope this website helps.
