Yes, because God created Satan. Remember that Lucifer used to be an angel that God created, but wanted power for himself.

I think that would be quite evident. On the other hand, if you think that God and Satan are in a constant 'war' and there is a chance that Satan might 'win', then you clearly do not know who God is.

Essentially if there is evil in the world there must also be good.
Some would and could argue that without good we would not be able to see the evil.
I accept that there is evil in the world and that there are evil people, just as I see good works and good people.
Whether they are from some entity or an instinctual residue in mankinds pysce is debatable. I believe that every person has the ability to be good and evil and there is a fine line that seperates the 2.
War is definately a catalyst to unleash mans evil side and quite often does. What possesses children to murder, mothers to murder their babies, assaulting the elderly.and rape.
When you see the news and the perpetrator they look exactly like everyone else.No fangs or claws.

That's exactly what turned my life around and influenced me to seek answers. I had a supernatural experience, that was an encounter with a demonic being. It was logical to me that if Satan and his demons were real, then God must be real too, so then I asked God to show me who He was and started searching in all the religions. I didn't like those Jesus freaks and was absolutely certain that God wasn't connected to them, but then God lead me through a series of events to Him, through Jesus and the cross. I ended up in the very place I didn't want to be but have never regret ed it. And God is as real to me as each and everyone of you are. So is the devil.

Yes, because satan used to be in heaven until he tried to overthrow God, then he was punished. By being sent to the mysterious beyond.

I would think usually, but I don't suppose you would have to believe in god to believe in the devil. I mean, it isn't a requirement.
