Worship is to be only for God. We were all created to worship. It should ONLY be the Lord- however whatever is the most important thing in our lives is our god- so worshiping anything other that God is wrong.

I think worshiping another god. because if you dont believe in a particular god, then you still have a choice to believe in the true God. C.S. lewis was an atheist he got converted... that was random i know.

Good question.
He definitely doesn't like it when people worship false gods.
However, there are many false gods that people worship but don't identify as gods, such as money, fame, power.
It's hard to imagine a situation where people didn't worship SOMETHING.

The true god is probably past caring anymore... go and worship whatever the heck you want.

Neither gets you salvation.

Revelation 3:15 & 16 describes false Christians who were indifferent, ("neither cold nor hot") as "lukewarm" and God's highest representative says because of this he will "vomit" them out of his mouth.

Matthew 7:13, 14 and 21-23 show you how sincerity is not good enough. A person MUST do God's will to be in line with Salvation......

3 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 25:31-46 gives you the entire basis for God's Judging mankind.
There does not appear to be nuetral ground

Hard to say but He doesn't like arrogance and being your own moral compass is arrogance. Plus He says that all sin is equal as it is all out of selfish desires. The penalty is the same for all sin which is death but the grace or gift of God is life. You know but for the grace of God go I. We merely have to accept His gift.
