What do you want to brush your teeth for in the first place ?
If you just want to clean it, any soap/bath shampoo would do, only the taste is deliberately adjusted. The marketing hype tells you it is different. Anyway your teeth are not always pure white, not every human is identical, check your fingernails & bones. Bleaching it white with extra peroxide etc is not good.

I use herbal toothpaste which is boiled from raw herbs and made into a cream for brushing my teeth. It rids ulcers, bad breath (when it doesn't emanate from the stomach), stops my gum from bleeding, stops my slight toothache after 5 days, loosens tartar from teeth & gums ( I found little pieces come out when i rinse after regular use) It's in limited circulation, I saw how labourious it was to make it. Only about 9 dollars excluding postage. Nothing like mass commercial production to kill the original traditional medicine man.

I stopped using toothpaste when I found out over time, tootpaste is the tartar buildup your dentist break away from your teeth after months of daily use.
I now use a 'protected toothbrush' and water from my germicidal receptacle.

Tom's of Maine all the way!...no saccharin and it comes in cool flavors like strawberry, mango, and cinnamint, thought the traditional spearmint is my favorite. the paste not the gel kind. It's all natural and I love their products..just pair with Burt's Bees chapstick! :)
