im going to the hair salon today but she doesnt know what to do withe my hair so i was thinking that i could explain it or bring a picture of what i want.
i have long,black,straight,thickish hair

You should get layers, and maybe highlights or something. Long layers would make your hair more, curly/wavy. Layers give body.
Anything you like, I guess. Talk to your hair dresser and maybe she can suggest something for hair of your type.

Well, If I DID have hair like yours, I would definently layer it. I would look for some pictures of japanese layered hair, because it would look more original in america.

i like to get mine done with a faceframe and layers
and then like in the front like have your bangs cut to about your nose.idk.
i have the same kind of hair and it looks good on me and
you can do about anything with it.

try doing some braids and straight hair together. or even better look up jrock images on google or yahoo
