I understand your dilema.

You've got Alah in the East, you've got Jesus in the West. Both of them say they're the only true religion, and if you don't believe, you're going to hell. So I guess you've got to just pick one, and hope its right. Roll the dice.

But you know, for me at least, there are worst fates than going to hell, and that's losing your integrity. That's right, I would rather spend an eternity in hell than forget who I am.

Practice a life of Good. Valor. Honor. Spirituality. Justice. Honesty. Humility. Sacrafice. Compassion. If you go to hell for that, then something is very wrong with this universe.

There are some very tremendous evils which have been done in the name of GOD.

"Not any man can speak the word of God."

"When it comes to be the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its a freight train coming your way."

It is really hard to see the great value of religion in our daily life.
The next difficulty is to select which one to accept among so many religions.
I think that true religion is the religion which answers our questions scientifically and rationally.
Take for example, all the revelative religions from the One True God teach about the law of cause and effect, and consequently the reward and punishment.
The law of cause and effect is scientifically and rationally accepted by almost all people. But the interpretation of reward and punishhment is still confusing by people from various times in history.
Some people say that we will return to dust, and leaving behind good or bad reputation.
Other think that we will attain heaven or hell, but the concept about heaven and hell are even more confusing!
So, as mature human beings, we have to independently investigate the truth for ourselves by reading the Holy Books, meditate on the sacred verses and put them into practice, then we receive spiritual guidance for all matters in our daily life.
It is like to receive our learning at school, but religion is more concerned about spirituality and covered all matters concerning man's relations to the world and to the One True God.

After ALL the questions you've asked (really, I'm suprised you have not run out of points yet) I would have guessed you would have realized the point of it all. Religion is dead, God lives, WE live. Organized religion as we know it has almost out lived its function. Do you really need a crutch that bad? Do you really have to have a clear set of "rules?" Or maybe even without a Bible or organized church telling you to, you know not to steal, cheat, lie and do things to purposefully hurt others. I don't need ANYONE to tell me those things. You should try to join a discussion group to enrich yourself spiritually. Again I implore you to look into the new age movement.

I would recomend a Church of Christ..Non-Denomanational Church..
There are No denomanations in Heaven...you will be Judged by your good deeds while here on earth, and in order to get to Heaven, you must except
Jesus Christ as your Personal savior and repent your sins. King James
Version..bible is a great one to follow, easy to understand...and remember you are only human and will make mistakes, and that noone is perfect. Just
put God first in your life!!!! Goodluck & God BLess

Well so many of the religions are very very sim, ilar,.

Christianit, Islam, and Judaism are practically the same with few changes between them

Hinduism and Buddhism alsao pretty similar.

All the religions kind of bounce off each other using one anothers ideas. You have to really see which one fits your lifestyle and beleifs.

Only one way to heaven. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Read entire Bible (from cover to cover), study individual books, chapters, and verses. In this you will form your believes on what Bible says. Read also Christian classics. Keep asking God to guide you in finding true church.

Wow now that is a loaded question. here is my small attempt to answer. I am on a spiritual journey to find where I belong as well right now i believe as the sihks of India that any path you seek God is a good path.

The best advice is to go to your god in prayer and ask. Then be prepared to listen for the answer.

There isn't a right religion. There is spirituality and there is the source, the I AM and love, all of which is the same thing. Now...make a decision.
