I would like to see stats on the entire United States. However, if someone could provide me information on just a single state or major city that would be fine. Link would be nice. Thanks

This Breaks down all manner of data for loaction, race, time, type of crime, etc etc etc...It is probably all of the data you would ever need for any crime related topic.

I don't think you need stats to determine that most criminal activity occurs during the night.
Some of the criminal activity that does occur during the day includes house burglaries, that's because most people are out working and a thief sees an opporutunity there.
