How do you make a good loaded watermelon? Where you actually cut a whole in the watermelon and then let a bottle of alcohol soak in. what are the proper methods of doing this and what type of liquor do you use?

Best way is to stand the watermelon on its end and make a hole with a drill that is the size of a wine cork. Use a funnel to pour your liquor of choice, usually Everclear or Vodka, into the melon. Use a wine cork to seal the melon and let it on to its side. Allow the melon to sit in the fridge for a few hours(12-24 if possibe) and rotate it once in awhile to allow for maximum soak on all parts of the melon. Be careful not to make the hole to big. If some leaking occurs at the site of your hole, wrap the cork in plastic and try it again.

i've always heard that people use everclear for this, but not sure on the best method of getting it in the watermelon other than poking a hole and pouring

OHHHH you can use ANY alcohol you wish... Even mix some of you favorites, you might just be suprised with how good it tastes

It doesn't matter where you put the hole, just as long as the watermellon is sturdy and the hole is on top...

You might even try putting several holes in for the different liquors

in college, the beverage of choice was "Everclear" with a proof of at least 100 - but it can be any that doesn't have a "flavor." Most vodkas will do.

and add about 4l or 1g of 7up

i can't imagine why to do this? drink the booze straight. keep the stomach empty. that way you get away from life as fast as possible.
