Cats, can be very territorial, so I don't think your neighbors cat would kindly play with you kitten.

They have to get to know each other first. It can take up to a couple of weeks. Let each cat lay on a towel and swap towels so they can get used to each other's scent. If you get them in the same house you will probably want to keep the separated and let them "get to know" each other through the space at the bottom of the door. They may eventually become friends but some cats won't tolerate others at all. Good luck!

Cats don't get along well right away. It usually takes 2 - 3 weeks for them to adjust to each other and maybe longer since one is a kitten. Good Luck!

No especially if the neighbors cat is a tom it will probably hurt your kitten if were you I'd wait until your kitten is a little older and even then watch them to make sure nothing happens

Always introductions have to be slow and you have to be present. Even if they get along the bigger cat might be too rough for a small kitten and might hurt him so dont leave them alone or for that matter even with your neighbor, they might side with their cat and think its ok even if theirs is hurting yours.

Probably not. Cats are very territorial.

SUPERVISE them while the are introduced and monitor their playing. If there's no open hostility from the start, it probably won't appear later.

Maybe there is going to be a fight but I’d say you can leave them together.
It is normal that cats try to find their hierarchy.

You are welcome!
