Recurring boils in the area you describe is a sign of Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Check out http://www.hs-usa.org for more info. If this is what you think you have, please bring some info with you to your doctor's appointment. Many doctors are unaware of Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

Go get you some Black Suave, there is another name for it and I can't think of it right now but it works. You put some on a sterile gauze pad and tape it over the boil, may have to do it several times but it works. I had one that kept coming back and my grandmother told me about this stuff, I tried it...it worked and haven't had a boil since

Boils have nothing to do with cleanliness. Just whether you are susceptible, or not. Take 15 minute baths in soapy warm water 3 times a day. You can always go to the ER to have it lanced. Immediate relief; it's what your Dr. will do next week.

either go to the ER and have it lanced, or keep moist heat on it till it comes to a head, puncture the head, apply gentle pressure, have lots of paper towels, they can gush
