i have studied sleep paralysis and these demons fit the description well
when we sleep and begin dream sleep , our body secretes a hormone to stop us acting out our dreams
if it is released too soon , or we wake during it
this can produce a feeling of paralysis and often accompanied by a waking dream ( hypnagogic state )
most commonly reported is demons or witches sitting on peoples chests
noises ... feelings of being thrown about or abused .... shadows etc
look it up ... it is fascinating
and not in any way connected to demons

I have, actually. My ex girlfriend's mother is a succubus. Her only purpose is to make this Earth a horrible place to live. She's basically an emotional black hole, sucking in all light and goodness but with an attractive, innocent appearence. Thankfully she's only one of the lesser succubi, and you can count the number of souls she has consumed with one hand. Sad types, you can see it in their skin, it looks like the life has been drained right out of them. Almost got me!
