some people say the glass is half full, others say the glass is half empty, i just say are you gonna finish that?

"what's in a name" was uttered by Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet" written by William Shakesphere. It was used in reference to Romeo Montague having the last name of a family her family was against. She was saying... "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"... meaning just because he's a Montague doesn't change the person he is.

The other quote I'm not sure of... but Bill Cosby explained the quotation in this way - clever guy!

“Is the glass half full, or half empty?
It depends on whether you're pouring, or drinking.”
