Because the Golan Heights is already in the hands of it's rightful owners! ISRAEL!

Because it's rightful owner is Israel. Syria is just using the Golan Heights as a reason to pick fights with Israel. And of course in a world that hates israel and supports terrorists there are going to be political reasons to prohibit this. GOLAN HEIGHTS BELONGS TO ISRAEL!!!! You got to give us Jews some gift, why not the Golan Heights without a fight.

I have been to the Golan (2003) and from what I could see, it is exactly where it belongs. As part of Israel and serves as a natural barrier to defend herself against the neighboring countries out to destroy her.

Any idea that giving the Golan up will bring peace is just foolish. Since the Golan became part of Israel because the same neighbors attacked Israel and lost.
To the victor go the spoils as they say.

I love to burst your bubble , but its Israel. Biblical Israel extended deep in to the Golan heights, and anyway, Syria attacked, lost the war, adnd to the victor go the spoils of war. simple.

Because Syria refuses to recognize Israel's water rights to the jordan river, and since they attacked Israel with out provocation in The Six Day War in '67 ISrael has a right to take land tha the enemy lost.

Remember, Syria attacked and lost.
If any other nation did that they would never get their land back..
The Sinai Peninsula was given back to Egypt after a peace treaty was signed and kept.
Jordan waived it's legal rights to the West Bank territories when they made peace, in essence donating the land to the future State of Palestine.
When Jordan gets serious about being in a peaceful middle east in the Modern world and recognizes Israel's rights to exist as a state, then perhas they will get their precious land back.

If Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Saudi Arabia conquered Israel in the Six Day War would they give the land back?? I think NOT.

if there is identity with the money then "definite". If there is not any identity i might turn it over to the police and if noone claims it after one twelve months that's lower back to the guy who has got here across it. here in Vancouver, Canada fairly some years in the past now an off accountability police officer got here across a briefcase with a million earnings it laying on a park bench. for sure this grow to be some variety of drug funds deal and he became it over to the government and after one twelve months noone claimed the money so it grow to be given lower back to the officer who got here across it.

your question is closely connected to mine. if we give out all the land of Israel including the Golan heights to no matter who, what we gonna have. the history had shown us that if we give a finger to the Arabs they will eat the hole hand. and i hope that the present Israeli government will finally realize that.

another stupid question. the 'rightful owners' attacked israel in '67 and lost land as a consequence. do you believe in rewarding someone for misbehaving, for committing a crime? come on, use some common sense

The Golan Heights goes to Palestine! Unless somehow we can peacefully split the country into "the One-State solution" where both peoples live together peacefully... Insha allah that will happen, because we know neither we nor the Israelis will ever give up. But it's a ways away!

And why? Because it is a cruel world. The evils conquer. If all us Arabs and Muslims pulled together, maybe we could change something. Insha allah!!
