If a guy asks you what you want from a relationship that started off great but sorta fell into ambiguity, would you be able to answer? Would you be offended or turned off? If so, how should we find out w/out asking?

Let's assume it was a full-fledged, exclusive relationship that WAS going great.

I wouldn't be offended. I would be glad he had the guts to actually talk to me about it. It lets her know you are still interested and you are considerate. You are wanting to keep commuication open and honest, and that's a good thing. It gives the opportunity for her to speak her mind. Maybe she wonders why you have been acting distant, etc.? I'm not saying that you are, but new relationships require time for each person to get to know each other and their normal behavior. Maybe she just misinterpreted some of your actions, or vice-versa. Don't be afraid to ask.

communication is always the answer but breaking the ice is very hard esspecialy if some 1 has been hurt. Actions speek louder then words so get more active in their life, show ur interest, help out around the house , garden or work on their car 2 show ur syncerity. then bring up ur concern over a nice dinner or a picknick or walk. All men can talk the talk its walking the walk they dont follow through on but u can 4 a fare n harmonious relationship.

Yes I would be able to answer and would probably have told him before he had to ask. Women are usually always up for talking about making the relationship better unless they really aren't interested in a long term thing with you. You should try to talk to her. If she wants nothing to do with it then you'll know why the relationship has been going down hill.

Ive actually been in that situation before. I was able to answer without being offended. It answered a lot of questions and helped out the relationship. i think you should just ask it!

Don't ask the question if you dont want the answer. I have had men ask me and when I say I want more, that I want a committed relationship and marriage they RUN. So I have stopped even admitting it if I like a guy. If you have told her in the past you wanted committment and marriage and you haven;t moved ahead she may be scared to tell you for fear of losing you or scaring you off.

I would not be offened or turned off--how are you going to know if you don't ask--and you need to talk about why it fell into ambiguity and what the two of can do to together to make it better.

You need to know where it is going and want she wants from it. I mean communication and trust are the two most imporant aspects ina relationships and you need to be able to talk to them. If they get all upset, offended or turned off you know it is time to go your seperate ways

How else will you know unless you ask? If communication isn't a part of your relationship, then things aren't going to last long anyway.

Ask...if asking causes damage, it's probably on its way out anyway.

I would definitely be able to answer, and no, I wouldn't be offended. I don't want to waste my time or anyone else's. I don't think you can find out without asking!
