I am 26 and now suffer from worse spot breakouts than ever in my teens. I eat healthily, excercise and drink at least 2L water a day. I just can't understand why I get these breakouts. Does anyone have any good solutions to this annoying problem?

Thanks for the answers so far, I am not seeing stress being a contributing factor either I am a Kids Yoga Teacher by trade and just don't *do* stress anymore. I meditate at least once daily and then anytime anything starts to even slightly wind me up.
I am aware my monthly cycle plays a fair part in my skin though so thanks for that reminder.

Ugh!

What a question

The hate of my life... spots. I'm 26 and I'm slowly getting round to controlling them.

And HONESTLY the best way to do it is:

Eat healthily
Excercise well
Get good Vitamin C and sunlight
Change your bed covers very reguarly
Wash your clothes every day
Exfoliate at least twice a day!!!

Good luck mate!

Chocolate and sitting round infront of the TV and getting prescription drugs off the doctor is NOT the answer. From someone who KNOWS

Do not use soap on your face in any form , this causes spots. only use water and baby wipes.Do not touch your face with your hands , this puts millions of spot causing bacterii on your face.Worry can cause breakouts, as can the monthly cycle . Try not to worry inwardly let it out you exercise that is a good release.Try also deep breathing meditation ,breathin deep , hold then release slowly out , 3 times . This sort you out

I use Mario Badescu Drying Lotion which is excellent for getting rid of unwanted break outs. You can buy it online and its about £15 with postage.

You paint it on and wash it off in the morning. Within 2-3 days spots are clearing up.

Funny enough! my 21 yr old daughter suffers from a lot of spots,
she's on a healthy diet, drinks plenty of water and exercises
daily. Where as my other daughter who is 18 does none of above
and gets no spots at all.So my eldest daughter decided to cut
down on her healthy lifestyle , not to much though! then within
a couple of weeks her spots completely disappeared.

Her thought was , to much exercise = lots of water = lots of sweat = lots of spots.

Hope that will help you.

GO see your doctor low birth control can help it or there are some creams to help it....I had the same problem but with a combination or a few drugs, skin cream, and cleanser it has gotten better and soon I can go off of them.......
