Have you tried loading it? most 2000/NT programs are compatible with XP. If not, and if you can get it to load, right click on the program icon, click properties, click the Compatibility tab, add a check mark to the "Run this program in Compatibility mode" and change the setting to one of the Windows versions you know it will run in.

Hello,
YES! that shouldnt be a problem at all, windows XP comes with a DOS virtual machine. This is essentially an emulation of a DOS like environment within windows, it can run any backwardly compatible software such as DOS type programs. The virtual machine will recognise DOS commands & run DOS software and many programs created previous to XP. The virtual machine is run as a application within windows itself so if it was to crash or go pear shaped it shouldnt have any bad effects on XP itself.

Install it using "compatibility mode". Most software, however, written for Windows 2000, works fine in Windows XP without having to use compatibility mode.

If it runs on those systems it should run ok on xp. If not right click on the program file and choose properties. There will be a compatibility manager that you can fiddle wth to try to get it working.
THe other thing to try would be to open a command prompt and try running it via that

You should have no problems...Since it can run under 2K there should not be a problem. If it did not have the 2K there I may have been a bit concerned. :) Cheers
