East Village and the Lower East Side! Those rock! There are tons of bars and clubs to go to. I'm assuming your under 30 years old though and over 21. If you're older, you may want to stay around the mid town area. If you are younger, then just do the tourist stuff (Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Plaza)
