Note the ridiculous in the mundane......like the way people sing in their cars when they forget that they are in public ( or when they sing along to whatever is in their headphones...), or even the way we do things without thinking why.......

One of my favorite comedians is Eddie Izzard and he has a way of talking about everyday things ( like how pears either rock hard or mush and are ripe for half an hour and you are never there [ from 'Definite Article']) and then doing off into tangents that are very witty and funny.

The most humorous comedians, in my opionion ARE the ones who see the humor in the ridiculous and ironic things that happen to us on a daily basis.

While you are observing allow yourself to be observed wearing only a necktie and pink sandals. You will get some laughs I guarantee it.

i've found that you can make things funnier by staring at things. ESPECIALLY around the holidays. see, like things that are creepy like, santa yard ornaments. gnomes. things like that... just think about it. but seriosuly the best way to cheere yourself up is add soundeffects to things. not even kidding you - it helps creativity also.

learn to smile at red lights. I have found that I am usually the only one smiling. it bleeds over into the rest of your day.

You can thicken your humerus bone while observing day-to-day things if you do pushups when you do that.
