It could be part of it. I had a few panic attacks some time ago before I was to embark in a long trip, and I remember I got some chest pain, along with fast heartbeat and extreme anxiety. I even got nausea. I feel your pain, I hope you'll be able to reduce these panic attacks, they're certainly not good. Anyway, you should tell a doctor about it.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Yes, you can have chest pains(angina) with a panic attack. However, if this is a new symptom for you, it would be a good idea to have it checked out with your doctor.

If it is radiating into the shoulder...go to the ER. Better safe than sorry. Tightness in the chest is panic, radiating into the shoulder could mean more serious things...Please do not take chances.
