Wellbutrin is often prescribed for weight loss, and smoking cessation in addition to depression and anxiety.

2-4 weeks for it to really start making a differance. I was on wellbutrin once, and it did decrease my appatite. (That was a side effect, though. I was on it for anxiety.)

Actually Wellbutrin SR does have a anti-craving effect to it. I am currently on it for Panic Attacks and Paxil was allowing weight gain beyond my control due to it's affect on my metabolism. Wellbutrin is used for the treatment of nicotine withdraw as well...
To answer your question. Yes it will but not today or tomorrow. It takes a while and the results are not drastic. Good Luck!

if wellbutrin works for you it will take at least one week for you to strart feeling a difference.it does not work for everybody.

i wasn't aware that wellbutrin was for losing weight. i thought it was for depression or anxiety.
