my rents think he is a loser bc hes barely finished h/s and he plans on being a ride inspector at carnivals. that job would only be seasonal, and he lives at his friends house with his friends mom, and hes 20. But he listens to me and remembers everything i tell him, so wut do i do? he treats me rite, but doesnt have a very promising future?

This guy might be a really nice guy to you, and you two might be really comaptible, but your parents are only thinking about your happiness and your future. They only want you to have the best. Your boyfriend sounds like he needs some motivation. He's too old to be staying with his frined's mom, and a seasonal job is not going to get him anywhere. Trust me sweetie, you want a man that will be able to provide for you if necessary. At his age he needs to either be in college or trying to get a trade so that he can have a better future. If he listens to everything you tell him then try telling him to be more responsible by getting a full time job that isn't seasonal, and getting his own place too. He doesn't have to have the best job in the world right now,just as long as it's a job. He doesn't need the best looking place around just as long as he has a place to stay. Motivate him to finish getting his high school diploma or GED so that he can get a degree or take up a trade to better his life. Put yourself in your parents place. Would you want your daughter to have a future with a man that wasn't going anywhere??? I don't think you would. You would want the absolute best for her.
