The FDA at this point is NOT going to require meat packaging houses to label the meat that it is cloned meat! So how would you know your eating 100% original meat and not a cloned version?

The thought of that makes me sick. I read this in the news today that the FDA has approved the use of it. The scary part is, meat processing plants are not required to put any kind of special label on the packages to tell you it's from a cloned animal.

Why do this? To the best of my knowledge, we don't have a shortage of beef cattle or pigs in this country, do we??

Absolutely NOT!

The FDA won't label cloned animal products, but companies that sell strictly regular meat and products will come out with a label saying somewhere along the lines of "UNcloned."

I wouldn't CHOOSE to eat meat from a clone but, I'm sure we will be buying it and eating it (restaurants) without our knowledge.

No way. The scientist who are doing this to animals are saying that it is going to be safe to eat. Well, if you want to eat chemicals and decease's that's all fine. But really what is going to happen is that it is not going to pass, but if it did, i would strongly recommend either buy organic, farm raise (you knowing personally where it came from) or become a vegetarian.
