Drink some water. When your body is dehydrated, all of the blood vessels come together causing pressure or a headache.

Don't take motrin or any ibuprofen for a headache.
Those medicines are anti-inflammatories for muscles.
Added pain killers in some ibuprofen medicines might relieve the pain but it does not treat the symptom.

The pain in your head comes from blood pressure in your head. Many times it's from dehydration (whether its' from salty foods or just not getting enough water)
You should take aspirin or something with acetaminophen to relieve the head ache symptoms. This will thin out your blood and release the added pressure in your skull.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Take some Tylenol or Motrin. Lay down in a comfortable room with dim lights. Apply a moist compress to your forehead. Some prefer cool and some prefer warm. Try to sleep.

Believe it or not,I learned on the news that a big glass of Gatorade will quickly get rid of headaches. It does have alot to do with dehydration but also the electrolytes in the drink help greatly.

as i find most of my headaches are stress induced, i suggest to find yourself a more relaxed setting and focus on good steady breathing, basically taking a time out with the world.

Walk over to the cupboard. Open the door with one hand..place the other hand in the door up to the fingers. In one quick and forceful movement slam the cupboard door on your fingers. You will soon forget all about your headache. Note: If this doesn't work immediately, consider doing the same with your genitalia. Good luck.
