Well, I am Catholic and New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday, so I will be attending mass going to church) since it is on a Sunday, but for no other particular reason.
I am amazed that some people make secular holiday celebrations religious ones. Another example is Thanksgiving. Everywhere else in the world the last Thursday in November is just another day...

The sad truth is that it's hard to find a church with any services for New Year's. I went to church New Year's Eve a couple of years ago and I can say without any doubt or hesitation that the following year was the best and most prosperous of my life. I don't think it was coincidence.

I'll be going to church on New Year's Eve morning, same as any other Sunday.

I was not aware that New Years Eve is a religious occasion. Whoever made it one should be shot.

Not me. Heck, if I walk into a church, it might spontaneously combust. I am, after all, an atheist heathen.
