Yes they can....a guy is scared of rejection just as much as anybody. If they feel that you are a great catch they may not act like they like you because they may be scared that you will turn them down or they dont meet your standards. I had a guy do that same thing to me.

it happens. especially when a relationship ends. it's a matter of pride. he doesn't want to show his weakness. my ex broke with me a couple of weeks ago but he still really tries to be involved in my life. idk if he likes me still, but it seems like it to me but he just doesn't want to look like a fool.
