Yes, I know people that do it all of the time. The key is to listen. Doreen Virtue explains how to do it in detail. I have heard responses to questions I have asked, and I know it isnt myself answering, because the answers are very seldom what I want them to be.

no, we are not allowed, From a Christian view, scripture is quiet clear that If we talk to "Guardian Angels" they are familiar spirits ( Demons)/fallen angels)
Angels do God's will and listen only to Him, If they communicated with us that would mean that they are excersising thier will apart from God's and we are told that the angels who did that were kicked out of heaven with satan.
God's angels only communicate with us when they are told by God to do so. Scripture holds many examples of this and they are not to be worshiped or sought out.
Test the spirits to see if they are of God , we need to be careful of who and what we listen too.

Well, the Bible says they listen to the voice of His Word. So if you are speaking God's Word, they are listening and carrying it out. Also the angels are our ministering angels sent to serve us according to the Bible. Now, they only hearken to His Word so it won't do any good to tell them to do something contrary to that!

Yeah I do think we can talk to them that is there job to guard us! We are never alone! We need to fine tune our commutation skills so that we could listen to them when they answer. The answer comes as a general knowing.

We are not suppose to talk to angels. The reason being is that we cannot tell if they are holy or fallen.
