Most people who plan a beach wedding use a hotel's planning department to arrange it... Depending on your budget, what you want, etc. Go to any beach hotels website and they will have contact info, or a webpage with their wedding rates. This can be really helpful to Arrange through a resort, they can arrange food, seating, hotel rooms. I would think even a small mom and pop hotel can help you arrange a small beach wedding. If you arent planning on using a hotels services, i would go to the nearest parks and rec dept in the city and find out their rules on this. Chances are lots of people request this. Most cities have a parks and rec website on their city government page.

Friends of mine got married on the beach this summer up here in Canada. They were supposed to get a permit but it turns out any land below the tide line is no mans land (so to speak). So they timed it so the tide would be out and got married on the beach for free and without a permitt. And it was a beautiful wedding.

It depends on the beach. Some beaches are publc...some are private. I got married on the beach in Hawaii, but I didn't have to have a permit. You just need to find out it you have to have a permit for the area of the beach you are looking to get married on. Good Luck!

You most likely need a permit to be married on the beach. Basically to reserve the space. I did it in FL. the permit was $10.00

For NC beaches, you need to obtain a permit from the town to actually have the ceremony on the beach. Not expensive or hard to obtain.

Depends on where you are planning to have it, what beach? I know a hotel in Costa Rica that will help you. The name of the hotel is Calla Luna, it's one of the most beautiful I've seen.
