Yes. He (sauce be upon him) was seen on several occasions in the 60`s talking to adolescent believers in Birmingham. According to the youngsters, He (sbuh) requested a temple or some type of shrine to be built to draw other like minded idiots into his cult. Today , everyone knows the name Spaghetti junction, a place of spiritual enlightenment and beauty, a simple shrine for simple folk, how fitting !

I doubt it. The Flying Spaghetti Monster was conceived as a retort to the idea of teaching "Intelligent Design Theory" alongside evolutionary theory in public schools. Basically, the whole premise is that if you're teaching one curriculum based upon dogma rather than fact, then why not just open the whole can of worms and teach something completely ludicrous such as a giant ball of pasta creating the universe?

Still, one could esoterically argue that if the FSM has raised awareness of teaching science over one religious sect's views, perhaps "His Noodly Appendage" has done some great work after all.

What is that? The Flying Spaghetti Monster....hmmm. It sounds like the name of a cartoon. You know, a cartoon with monsters, with flying food. Scary!
The first time I heard about it was here on Y!A. Didn't know about before.
Anyway, the name tells it all. What can I say? The human has a very big imagination.

I have had a question concerning the Flying Spaghetti Monster removed. Although the whole FSM thing is a bit childish and facetious, there is a serious point which we have a right to make, and that is that the FSM (pbuh) and his religion is every bit as logical, reasonable, and worthy of belief than any of the religions of the world - a point which highlights the insanity of the world's most "respected" religions.

Everyone should believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Sauce Be Upon Him).

It makes just as much sense as any other religion.

The people who deny him are going to be very sorry if they die and find out that the Flying Spaghetti Monster (SBUH) was real. They're going to miss out on the stripper factory and the beer volcano for all eternity.

Best to believe it all just in case.

I pray that you all feel the touch of his noodly appendage.

Not unless they want to completely miss the point that the creators of the Flying Spaghetti Monster were trying to make.

In case you actually don't know, the religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster was created as a rebuttal to the arguments of intelligent design supporters in the Kansas education curriculum case. It is intended as a spoof. There is a stripper factory and beer volcano in heaven. If there is any religion to believe, it is this one. However, this is not supposed to be a real religion.

My belief in the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is equal to my belief in the existence of: The Invisible Pink Unicorn, The Christian God, The Muslim God, any other god, ghosts, goblins, angels, demons, devils, and Creationism.
