there is a purple spot showing up on the top right corner of my TV. how can i get rid of it?

To get rid of it move magnets, speakers or other devices that are close to the TV. If that doesn't fix it, time for a new TV.

take your phone receiver (the part u talk into ) and put it on the spot thats purple and move the phone on the screen toward the edges. the magnet in there pulls the color back into place.

With a TV degausser. Most TV repair shops have one. You can buy one for yourself if you want but it's rather pointless unless you have a lot of TV's/Monitors around or fix them yourself.
