anyone had it and have tips to help my eye stop watering?

i went thru something one time - one half of my face went completely numb....one eye would not shut, smile was crooked, and i over-all felt like the elephant woman...i went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with bell palsy, i had never heard of it before then...they gave me some high power drugs to take for a week...and i havent had anything like that again thank god, but found out that my brother has it also....they also had me tape my eye shut while sleeping because it would not shut on its own, my eyes were really dry......

it depends how long since symptoms have cleared,the eye watering could last indefinite ,you may need more time to see if it heals or you could have tear duct cauterized.
