The famous David Bowie was in a nasty tussle with his best friend over a girl when he was a teenager. The friend jabbed a sharp object into David's eye and the eye was nearly lost.
When he recovered, he ended up with two different colored eyes. The girls went crazy over it!
Think about that the next time you want to punish someone over a girl. You may end up giving him more sex appeal to the very girl you are after.

was she coming home with you at the end of the night??? if so then no it was not a good idea..ya lost a friendship..maybe talking to him woulda been better. Most guys can talk about stuff like that and not get into a fist fight..tell him he is stepping over the boundaries and about to get smacked..if he doesn't respond then knock him out.

No I would hit a friend for flirting with my girl. No friend of mind would do that.
- Was your girl flirthing back? ( not a good sign )
- Did you talk to your friend about flirting with your girl?
- Did you talk to your girl about your friend flirting with her?
- If a another dude flirts with his friends girl he's no friend. Punching out someone isn't the way to go.

No, because she is not my property. If she chooses to respond to him flirting by getting it on with him, that's the end of her relationship with me - and good riddance. If she's that easily led into cheating, I don't need her. I'll find someone better. As for hitting him - you deserve a lo*oo*ong jail sentence!

Nah, I dont think its worth it!! If the girl is a nice lady and likes you the same way, she should been respectful enough to tell your friend to back off for whatever reason!!

in case you truly desire to go out with this guy or woman, you may do it permitting them to understand which you like them in that way. soliciting for a telephone variety as a pal is the beginning up of dishonesty in a relationship.

Depends how bad it was and how often and such. Doing it once I would talk to him and tell him to knock it off, if he persisted, I would hit him, and hard.

I can see how that would upset you. You have to let your gf know what kind of friends that you have, prepare her. So she will stay away from them when they come around.
