Don’t let them know you are interested in a sexual way – it will happen it just takes time.
Only date one woman at a time, and if that doesn’t work out, then, and only then, start looking for another woman.

This sounds good! Although, uh, don't be early for dates, okay.
Make sure that if you behave this way that it is your true heart attitude, and not just a behavior you put on for a date. It will not be fair to the woman if you are super-respectful on the first few dates but actually that is not your true self.
It also depends on the type of woman you are seeking - some women do not want to be treated as ladies. I am not one of them, but I have known several who would find this offensive. Part of it seems to depend on where you were raised. I've lived in the South where men were gentlemen but assumed a lady had no ability to think and reason, and I've lived in the North where no man would consider holding a door open for me but neither would they consider dismissing my opinions. If I had a choice between a man who held the door open and one who respected me as an intelligent human being, I would choose the latter. Those first things are more visible when you are dating; once you are married who pays is a moot point, and once you have kids both of you will have full hands so no one will hold the door for anyone, but the respectful attitudes will persist and shape the marriage.

i want to meet the guy who does this. it is so rare.
after reading your link: it is too easy to wall oneself off. just keep on being a real person. it pays off in this way: you either end up alone and satisfied you did the right thing, or you may meet the love of your life. and isn't either one of these better than serial relationships forever?
