I am looking for a really good recipe for one. We are wanting to make them for new years but for some reason the homeade ones never turn out as good as the ones in the restaurants, any tips?

one secret is the Triple Sec. Don't skimp on it.

And use sugared strawberries.

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri recipe

Scale ingredients to servings
1 1/2 oz rum
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
4 strawberries
1 tsp sugar

Pour the rum and lemon juice and sugar into a champagne saucer with some shaved ice. Stir well. Garnish with 4 strawberries, sliced or otherwise, and serve.

Or you might buy frozen daiquri mix and rum. I usually buy the mix.

We always prepare our strawberries a day in advance...
Take fresh strawberries slice them up in at least quarter slices and pour at least a cup of sugar over them and stir
They should get a little liquidly
Refrigerate and they will be ready to add in the drinks

We just use
prepared strawberries
rum
and ice ream

And dont forget the Triple Sec
