I'm seeing someone, I'm in a long distance relationship. I'm fine wit not talking to him everyday but when this guy waits about 3/4 days till he next calls, I can't help but wonder if he really likes me or not!. He's even told me he wants us to have a baby, although I've never heard "I love you" from him yet.

Does he keep in touch by e-mail or IM every day or so? If so, that should be sufficient; It is not unusual for a guy not to call you for a couple of days, that is just how guys are. It could even be for financial reasons, depending on his long-distance phone plan.
However, it is very unusual that he would say he wants to have a baby with you but has never told you that he loves you...it almost sounds like he wants to tie you down emotionally without tying himself down to you.
If you met this is not someone you knew and one of you moved away, just someone you met over the net, I would be very wary. There are lots of guys out there that use the net to string along several girls at once and sometimes, they are even married already.

If you did have to talk every day, wouldn't it come to seem like a chore?
Men don't talk as much as women, and don't talk about the same things, or go into as much detail on everyday occurences. So, while you might feel like you have a whole lot to talk about, he probably doesn't.....especially if he is sitting around not doing too much. If you want to talk to him about your day, you should call him, but don't expect him to talk for the same amount of time.
He also might be trying to save some money, and no matter how little one call might cost, if you multiply that times 30 times, it can become an expensive added expense no matter how you try to get around it.
You might try emailing him daily. That might suffice in between phone calls.

3 to 4 days seems a little extreme to me and one of my friends has a long distance relationship going and she went to his place to surprise him and guess what...he has a live in girlfriend...they have been dating 1 yr and my friend has been seeing him for 5 yrs!!! Yeah what a blow! Just be careful girl and watch his behavior...if he calls the same days or same time you may want to rethink this relationship...

from my experience YES he would. if you love someone you want to hear their voice everyday. i was in a long distance relationship with the man i am marrying friday and we have always talked every day since the day we meet

He wouldn't call everyday. He is working , taking care of all his mail, making himself dinner, practicing in his rock n roll band, watching movies, answering emails, washing his clothes, cleaning his house, having some wine and thinking about his busy day for tomorrow while he finds sometime to dream about you when he is sleeping.

I would say so but dont expect it when the guy gets too busy.
