We are most defiantly responsible for our own actions and responses. I think when I act in a way that's against God then I lose fellowship with him. And this will only be restored by me changing my mind and actions accordingly. I think country's come under judgement for unjust wars and the way we treat our surroundings because God is righteous and has given his creation power of good and evil in which we have free will to act for or against our responsibilities.

There is no all-seeing god or creator. This story was made up by our primitive ancestors to account for the "aloneness" they felt in the Universe. The story of how such childish, dependent beliefs persisted to the present day is a complex one, involving, among other things, earthly power and control over other people..

He is Gracious and merciful because He knows what we are going to do before we are even born. In my case I hurt many including myself and yet He has forgiven me because I asked for forgiveness.I have to make amends too which will take a lifetime. I am trying to change from being basically a selfish person so why would He help me after all I have done? Must be unconditional love.

I would hate it if God saw everything I did! I used to wonder if all my dead relatives could see me! I don't want my grandad to see me in the buff lol. Loads of people have sex out of marriage, loads of people do the occasional wrong thing. We can't live our lives being forever fearful of what God can see, the world would stop! I just think he judges the ones who are forever doing wrong on purpose, the really bad guys out there. I think he could let us off with a few naughty deeds. I wonder how many people have a black mark for coveting their neighbours ox!

right...the last time I did something stupid...he was right there , in person, telling me not to do it. ( this is sarcasm, in case anyone thinks I'm serious) If there is a god I don't believe he cares what we do. We're an unattended ant farm.

That`s right, he watches you and ignored Auschwitz and Belsen !!!! Get real, would someone who loved you pick and choose who and what to condemn? What has he done lately? Why would he "watch" you, and ignore the needy, are you more important ? It`s all in your head!

That doesn't seem to be the case. Even Christians have bad things happen to them.

If bad things happen to a Christian, it's called a test. If it happens to a non-Christian, it's called punishment.

He not only sees what we do, but He knows why we do it. That's the important part.
