There are answers for this, but it would require an encyclopedia to address everything. The short answer is be yourself and never give up. If you hit a snag, talk it out and try things a different way from there on out.

First be yourself. If he doesn't like you for you, it isn't going to work to begin with. find out his interests. be a good listener. spend time building a friendship first. don't worry so much about the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. depending on what his interests are, maybe you could take him to do an activity. guys love to do things whether that be shooting hoops, a concert, the beach. it helps break the ice to do something with our girl instead of having to be forced into an awkward intimate conversation on the first few dates. give us space. don't act too clingy. follow up when you say you will. let us initiate some things too. guys like to be the man and be challenged.

as things progress, you will know when it is right to step it up a notch. but until it is plain and clear, please don't start whipping out the empty wedding album, if a guy isn't ready to be serious, he will be out of there fast. hope this helps.

How old is this relationship? It sounds kind of rookie-ish!!

Act like yourself! If you wanna be goofy, be goofy!

If there's one thing I've learned about my relationship with my fiancee, is that you should always have time for each other but always have time for yourself. Show that you enjoy your time with him but show that you have a life as well and that you don't stand by the phone waiting for his call. He'll appreciate that!

If you show your boy, you're not a neurotic, clingy girlfriend, you're good!

I also don't ask my man, "Where are you going?" "What time are you coming home?" "Who are you going with?" "Who's that calling your cell?"

Your man will love you for that!!!!

As for where to go on a date........it depends on both your personalities and likes/dislikes. Mini-golf, bowling, movies, a restaurant, a lounge, the arcade, I dunno! The possibilities are endless!!!

Talk to him. Learn what you can. Guys are incredibly deep, more than we are given credit for, because of stupid stereotypes. So communicate with him,. . .learn to be able to lay your hand upon his heart, and feel his soul. Otherwise, this is a doomed effort.
