My skin is really bad sometimes I have a lot of pimples. Sometimes also it becomes too oily! I am looking for a moisturizer, preferably gel type or just water-based, that normally wouldn't make my skin more oily or greasy and would cause more pimples!!! I am having difficulty choosing what kind since there are soooo many brands. Sunscreen or SPF is also a pre-requisite. I NEED YOUR EXPERT OPINION.

Clinique is great, if you can afford it - and their staff are trained to help you find the right product for your skin type.

Neutrogena is a good alternative if you're looking for something a little less expensive, and their web site has some good information that should help you pick the right product for your skin. I think almost all of their daytime moisturizers have a sunscreen component.

Do be careful not to overtreat your skin, as that can lead to more breakouts. If you over-cleanse, your skin will produce more oil in reaction. Leave your skin alone as much as possible. You really don't need a lot of "product." Wash your face when you shower, take off your make-up every night if you wear any, use sunscreen. You can spot-treat pimples if you get them. Otherwise, leave it be! Your skin will be less reactive and healthier as a result.

SPF 15.....Oil of Olay. It is so light and not greasy at all. I have been using it for years and I don't break out.
You should use a cleanser for oily skin, then use toner, then moisturizer. It will make you skin less prone to breakouts. If it is properly cleansed, there won't be as much bacteria to produce pimples.
Good Luck!

Olay has several daily moisturizers with SPF - including their generic oil-free, fragrance-free daily moisturizer.

or check out the NutrimenC RE9 line from Arbonne - they have a daily facial cream with SPF, as well as a cream called "About Face" - which is actually a line of sun protection for skin and hair.

Many of my patients recommend Cetphil facial moisturizer with SPF 15, as it does not irritate their skin nor does it worsen their acne.

Very hypoallergenic and scentless.

I like DHC brand lotions and cosmetics. They use natural ingredients. They will send you samples to try of their various products also.
